How to get there
Hire a car and drive southeast out of Rome towards Naples. At Naples Harbour, catch the Capri ferry. You'll arrive in approximately four hours (total journey 265km distance). From March to November, cars are not permitted on the island.
Take the train from Roma Termini station to Napoli Centrale and then catch the bus to Naples Harbour where you can get a ferry boat to Capri. You'll arrive in approximately four hours.
