Three reasons to go
- You have the option of crossing into Austria – a separate country – passports only required for non EU citizens and only then if you visit a section of the lake across the border.
- Head to one of the area's vineyards for a spot of wine-tasting and a vineyard tour.
- Hire a bike and cycle along the paths that surround the lake or hit the water for sailing, canoeing or water skiing.
