Get into the swing of things at Innsbruck's New Orleans Festival - a blues and jazz music extravaganza which is free to attend at Landhausplatz Square.
- When? 20th - 23rd July 2017
- Where? Landhausplatz Square, Innsbruck
- Price: Free
The only other place you'll see as much carefree boogying as you do at Innsbruck's New Orleans Festival, is at your nan's bingo hall on a Saturday night. Prepare to get your groove on to the sound of blues and jazz at one of the city's most anticipated music events.
Running since the late 90s, New Orleans Festival pays homage to The Big Easy and features a line up of both experienced and up-and-coming musicians who take to the stage across the four day event. Whereas some international names with roots firmly in New Orleans can be found in the acts, there will also be local bands and talented vocal groups from around Austria, who will present their own take on established genres.
This year Landhausplatz Square will host the festival and the best thing about it is that admission is free. So if you're on a budget, it's definitely cheaper than the bingo.
