There's a storm coming to Shanghai in Autumn, except this is one the locals will look forward to. STORM Electronic Festival attracts thousands of EDM fans to its outdoor venue every year.
This huge event is the largest EDM festival in China, first arriving back in 2013 much to the joy of Asian music fans. Visitor numbers have continued to grow since the first edition of STORM, so be quick and get your ticket well in advance if you want to go.
International DJs are always in attendance with the likes of Tiesto and A-Trak featuring at previous festivals. This year's line-up includes Alesso, Oliver Heldens and Duke Dumont with Skrillex returning for another year.
The event continues to grow in popularity and has caused such a 'storm' that the organisers have added another two festivals to the Asian EDM scene. Electro-lovers in Shenzhen and Chengdu now have a chance to ride the storm.
If you take your electronic music seriously then you might want to attend the pre-show International Music Summit which has partnered up with STORM festival organiser A2LiVE to deliver a two-day event featuring talks from internationally-renowned DJs and producers. Otherwise just go ahead and enjoy the party.
It's sure to be a STORM that will blow you away.
