Since 1968, the International Puppet Theatre Festival has grown in reputation and today still attracts hundreds of theatre-goers to enjoy the puppet inspired performances, exhibitions and seminars. It's rise to the top has resulted in more than 500 puppet groups from across Europe and further afield participating in the festival, showcasing their skills, displays and acts.
The whole event is organised by professional theatre companies so you can expect a great program of puppet entertainment during the festival which usually spans a week in mid-September. If you're in Zagreb, why not stop by? You might end up on a trip down memory lane when Sweep was causing havoc. Those were the days.
