Prague is transformed into an open air concert venue with three days of live music at the beautiful Vltava riverfront.

United Islands of Prague is a three-day open air music festival that caters for all tastes in music: rock, pop, jazz, hip-hop, techno, indie, electronic and world. Recent headliners have not only included big names like Placebo and Iggy Pop but also lesser-known, local talent.
It all takes place by the beautiful Vltava riverfront in Prague’s Kampa and on Střelecký and Slovanský islands. Music performances on the stages begin on a Friday afternoon and end on Saturday evening.
The city effectively becomes one giant, open air concert as there'll be performances also take place in many locations throughout Prague with gigs taking place in around 20 clubs hosting gigs. Admission to all the concerts is free which is amazing so you'll have your pick of the acts.
There'll also be after-parties lasting until the early hours of the morning. So head on down for this carnival of music and partying.
- Get there: Take the tram to Hellichova or take a taxi straight to Kampa Island.
- Stay: Book accommodation in Prague 5 to be nearby, or stay elsewhere in the city and travel.
