Kappa FuturFestival is a two-day electronic music festival in the Italian city of Turin, which is a musical mecca for fans of house and techno.
- When? TBC July 2018
- Where? Parco Dora, Turin
- Price: €45 per day or €60 for a weekend pass.
Turin is an absolutely beautiful city, home to Italy’s first King and full of an intriguing mix of culture and range of architecture. For two days in July, the focus is undeniably planted on music.
The Kappa Futurfestival features fresh names and veteran favourites from the worlds of house and techno, attracting over 40,000 fans each year. With a lineup that in the past has included Sven Väth, Die Antwoord, Len Faki, Disclosure and many more, you can see why it’s so successful.
But don’t take our word for it that this festival is one not to miss. Let last year’s line-up do the talking. Day one featured: Chris Liebing, Davide Squillace, DeWalta & Shannon, Kings of House NYC, David Morales, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Marco Carola, Margaret Dygas, Monika Kruse, Raresh, Ricardo Villalobos and Sam Paganini. Whilst day two can boast: Apollonia, Ben Klock, Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Ellen Allien, Kerri Chandler, Kim Ann Foxman, Lil Louis, Nastia, Nicole Moudaber B2B Skin, Nina Kraviz and Sven Väth.
This killer line-up also had a killer backdrop, with the disused warehouse location of Parco Dora making for an atmospheric event space.
From noon to midnight with unmissable parties in between, Kappa FutureFestival is not only a chance to hear quality music, but an excuse to experience the local culture and Italian admiration of electronic beats.
- Get there: Take a taxi or use public transport to get to Parco Dora from the city centre.
- Stay: Book accommodation in San Donato to be nearby.
