The party well and truly starts when Annie Mac's Lost & Found Festival hits Malta in April, with a 'multitude of daytime pool parties and night time open air raves' to be expected. The lineup for 2017 included big names Armand Van Helden, Giggs and Annie Mac alongside old favourites that have played the festival in the past like Eats Everything.
There are plenty of events to get to grips with over the long weekend, starting with a huge opening party. The fun certainly doesn't peak after that though, with castle raves, pool parties and boat parties to join. It is rumoured that Annie Mac herself will appear on at least one of the boat parties, so if you've always dreamed of meeting the DJ in person, this could be your chance.
According to the event website, Mac and her team have visited Malta to secure the best party venues the area has to offer, which means that the Lost & Found Festival is a must-visit for groups looking to let loose. The festival site itself is hidden in a secret corner of the island and is home to three open air stages, one club and 'many surprises'.
With tickets starting at £85 you're going to be hard-pushed to find better value for money to see some of the best DJs around in Malta.
Whether you're here for the music or the party, a sore head will be as likely as a good time so make sure you remember the pro plus.
- Get there: Fly into Malta International Airport and take the bus or a taxi to reach your hotel.
- Stay: The official website recommends staying close to St Paul’s Bay as the festival is around 11 kilometres away. Guests could also stay near Café del Mar which is the host of the official Lost & Found pool parties and offers a shuttle service to the festival.
