Arriving at the end of June, Wianki Midsummer Festival makes its way to Krakow, named as one of the top cultural events of the year.

During Wianki, street parties and bonfires are to be expected. The Vistula River is decorated with floating wreaths to mark the occasion as fireworks explode above Poland's Wawel Castle, which was a bustling trade location thousands of years ago.

A collection of some of Poland's top pop stars have performed at the event in previous years, which takes place along the longest and largest river in Poland.

  • Get there: Use local buses and trams to navigate the city.
  • Stay: Opt for a hotel close to the riverbanks to be at the centre of the action.

*We do our very best to verify the dates of our events but please check with the official event provider before booking your flights. We would hate for you to be disappointed!
