If your musical loyalty lies across several genres, we've got the answer. Celebrate the coming of summer at Madrid's 4every1 festival this June. With big name acts, a booming sound system and thousands of revellers, this non-stop festival provides 18 hours of pure party madness. As the name would suggest, this is a festival of many shades and there's a good range of musical acts to enjoy.
Held in Ciudad de Rock, the festival offers over 100,000 square metres of performance space - that's a lot of room to bust out your moonwalk. Different styles are catered for across the four coloured areas: White - Electronic Dance; Red - Hardstyle; Green - Techno House and Black - Techno. The lineup is sure to include a great mix of live performances as well as DJs; previous years have included the likes of Afrojack. There's also a cool outdoor area of artificial grass (aptly names 'The Grass') which hosts DJs, while Big Zoologica is a prime spot for the raving masses.
Tickets are likely to sell out fast so get them while they're hot. The event is geared towards Spanish students who have recently finished exams so expect plenty of jubilation as well as the occasional queue. Still it'll give you a chance to decide your musical allegiance. Or not.
- Get there: We recommend travelling from Madrid by train - you can get a discounted ticket with proof of festival ticket purchase.
- Stay: Recommended accommodation is available on the website as there is no camping.
