Although only a few years old, the Beer & Cider Festival in Manchester has established itself as one of the top beer festivals in the UK. Grab a pint, let's get started.
This CAMRA-organised event has over 750 beers, ciders and ales served at 22 bars for the festival, celebrating the very best domestic and foreign beers. In 2017, they served at a rate of 27 pints a minute - that's 62,000 pints overall.
Dotted around the venue are 'Bière Sans Frontières' bars, which bring an even larger range of draught and bottled beers from innovative and exciting breweries around the world.
Entry is reasonable and starts from £7 and is a veritable feast of brilliant booze. However, man does not live by beer alone, which is why there are also lots of pies to try out too.
