Live music, good food and Sangria in the sun; what's not to love about Festejar - Manchester's annual Spanish festival in Albert Square.
Spanning four days between 11am - 11pm, Festejar fever sweeps the city of Manchester as Albert Square becomes a 'Little Spanish Oasis'. From the first to the last day of the event, craft traders will have visitors licking their lips as they serve up an array of Spanish cuisine from tapas to paella; and not forgetting a few glasses of Sangria to wash it down with.
As well as the expansive Spanish market of food and drink, you can expect activities galore (all with a touch of Spain of course). Find your rhythm in Spanish dancing lessons, embrace the cultural activities or simply relax and enjoy the fantastic entertainment on offer including some talented live bands.
This is one event where you can ignite your Spanish soul. Even if it takes a jug (or two) of Sangria to get you going.
