The city is home to the world famous Newcastle brown ale and this festival celebrates the many craft beers, ciders and ales of the region. Organised by the Campaign for Real Ale or CAMRA, the festival has been going strong for over 40 years now and Newcastle Beer & Cider festival promises to be bigger and better with every passing year.
The three-day event features live music, a cava bar and over 130 ales, ciders and beers. Be sure to sample local recipes for an authentic Newcastle experience. This area of the UK loves its locally produced ales in particular.
#travioortip: Make sure you grab a bit to eat in between all the drinking if you plan on sampling a lot of beers.
Refundable glass hire will cost you only £2 while tokens are super cheap. There will also be plenty of food for those who find themselves a little hungry after drinking a few too many. Cheers.
