World-class acts, artists, food and entertainment. What's not to love about Vegas' Life is Beautiful festival?
If you and gambling go together about as well as Alan looking after baby Carlos in the Hangover, you'll need to find something else to do in Vegas. Luckily there's plenty, but placing yourself at Vegas' annual Life is Beautiful festival might just be a match made in heaven.
Running since 2013, this vintage Vegas festival celebrates music, art and culinary excellence. It's spread across 18 blocks in the Downtown Las Vegas area including the Fremont East bar district, backing onto a number of Vegas' emphatic casinos and hotels.
A variety of top-class artists and performers attend the event every year, which is held over the course of a weekend in September. In 2016, its star-studded line-up included the likes of J. Cole, Major Lazer, Duke Dumont and Mumford & Sons, highlighting the diversity of genres.
To add to the music scene, a Culinary Village presents a range of cuisine from some of America's top chefs including: 50 shades of green, Nobu, Nacho Daddy and Bling Bling dumpling. The Alchemy Garden invites you to try a number of wines and cocktails to get you into the festival mood.
What's more, the event features some of the most fascinating, thought-provoking and original art that America has to offer. Look out for immersive art exhibitions in local hotels and motels and art cars that patrol the event to show off their flash interiors which include actual DJ sets.
So if you're visiting the entertainment capital of the world in September, go all in on the Life is Beautiful festival and you're sure to come out with winning hand. This one won't disappoint.
