Food and Wine Festival

19 - 22 Oct 2017
Various locations, Martha's Vineyard

Get a taste of island cuisine at the annual Martha's Vineyard Food and Wine Festival.

If Robinson Crusoe got stuck on this island, we reckon he would have left looking rather tubby. Known for its culinary excellence, Martha's Vineyard serves up some of the finest cuisine in all of New England. As such, its annual food and wine festival is a one-of-a-kind, belt-busting experience.

Given the island's cool-kid status, this isn't a run-of-the-mill food fest. Ticketed events are bespoke in every way, offering personalised dishes in unique settings. Signature events emphasise fresh local produce, with farm tastings plus live music. Dinner pop-ups let visitors book for one-off dining in a variety of different locations, including an over-water jetty. There's also a wine experts workshop plus cheese and charcuterie seminars.

Tickets are available to book online through the festival's website - note that smaller events are likely to sell out quickly. With all this lovely food on offer, chances are you'll never want to leave the island. Maybe you could get 'accidentally' shipwrecked?

  • Get there: Fly into Boston's Logan International Airport then take a domestic plane to Martha's Vineyard Airport or take the Peter Pan Bus then the ferry.
  • Stay: Find a hotel by the sea.

*We do our very best to verify the dates of our events but please check with the official event provider before booking your flights. We would hate for you to be disappointed!
