The Deepwood Wine and Jazz Festival combines a love of music with some of the best local wines Salem has to offer.
- When? 24th June 2017
- Where? Deepwood Museum and Gardens, Salem
- Price: $20 on the door or $15 in advance - see the Deepwood Museum website for further details.
Get your jazz hands and your wine glasses at the ready, the Deepwood Wine and Jazz Festival is coming to town and we've got a feeling it's going to be a good one.
The festival is set in the stunning Deepwood Gardens, which span a whole five acres around the Deepwood Museum. Live jazz music acts play across two stages, and 2016's festival featured sets from Gail Gage Jazz and Island Jazz Quintet. The lineup for 2017 hasn't been released yet, but there's plenty of local talent to be showcased in Salem.
Wine and music are only half of the story (or two-thirds if you want to be picky about it), with renowned local restaurants also grabbing a slice of the action by offering tasting plates for all to enjoy.
Tickets are $20 on the door or $15 in advance and often sell out, so we suggest booking early so you don't miss out. Get ready to eat, drink and be merry, and two-step your evening away at this annual festival. If you can still walk straight after all the wine, that is.
- Get there: Fly into Portland International Airport then take the shuttle to Salem.
- Stay: Book a hotel in the city centre so you can walk to and from the event.
